Jack White surprised his audience at Irving Plaza on Monday night (February 10), by bringing out his daughter, Scarlett, to play bass with his band during the encore. Scarlett, 18, joined the group for the rendition of the 2024 song “Archbishop Harold Holmes,” from White’s latest album, No Name. The show, part of White’s ongoing No Name Tour, also featured classic White Stripes songs like “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” and “Seven Nation Army.” The group went on to play two additional intimate shows in Brooklyn this week as part of their barnstorming tour of small clubs, with a two-night stand scheduled in Boston on February 17-18. White and company then head overseas for dates in France, the Netherlands, the U.K., and Japan, followed by more North American shows. This marked Scarlett’s second onstage performance with her father, following a 2023 appearance. White shares Scarlett and his son Henry with his ex-wife, model Karen Elson, and he is currently married to fellow musician Olivia Jean. (People)
